Co-Branding

The District encourages schools and departments to co-brand with Round Rock ISD’s logo and identity to maintain clear affiliation with the District and our mission to Inspire students to learn; Empower students for life.

Some schools within the District wish to build a distinct identity for their unique sub programs such as IB World School® or dual language to heighten the value proposition of their campus. This is done most often in cases where there is a marketplace advantage in highlighting the program to build name recognition as an identity distinct from the District.

The District, campus, or department logo should be presented in a clear, consistent, and effective manner. Preserving the integrity of our visual identity is essential for communicating the school and District’s academic and programming excellence to both internal and external communities.

Correct Usage

To establish and maintain the strength of the Round Rock ISD brand, correct and consistent use of the logo must be followed. Departments must use the District’s official logo with department name below as shown:

Tips:

    • Your campus logo should appear on every official internal and external communication message, including: e-mail, document, flyer, presentation, etc.
    • Always try to use the best quality logo. Enlarging a small image will result in a pixelated, low quality image.
    • To keep the proportions in scale, hold down the SHIFT button while resizing.
    • If you want to use the logo on background color this is not white, use the .png version. Jpg files will always display a white box around the image. Png files have transparent backgrounds.
    • If you are working with an outside print company, please contact us to request the .ai or .eps files.

Incorrect Usage

To establish and maintain the strength of the Round Rock ISD brand, correct and consistent use of the logo must be followed:

District, campus, and department logos should avoid being stretched out of scale, recolored, redrawn, have additional typefaces or text added, or be used to create a different logo.

Elements of the logo should not be obscured or covered by design elements, background photos, or graphics. The presentation of the design elements should not be altered by the insertion of shadows or screens that change the official school or District colors. The selection of materials, treatments, and backgrounds in which the logo will appear should be complementary to the logo rather than the occasion. For example, avoid neon shirts and deviating from the approved District font or typeface.

  • Lato (web) or Gill Sans (print) are the selected District fonts.
  • Using the correct logo file type is important to ensure the clarity, sharpness, and consistency of the District visual identity assets.
  • Print: at least 300 dpi at the actual size which the logo will appear Web, email, presentations: at least 72 dpi at the actual size it will appear on the screen.

Do not alter logos by adding elements. Do not use retired logos.
